Wake Up — Free Philosophy & Simulation-Theory Trivia (2-Player Browser Game)
Wake Up is a free two-player quiz about the biggest questions there are — reality, illusion, consciousness, control and free will — wrapped in a glowing digital-rain terminal.
Inspired by The Matrix and by thousands of years of philosophy and science, it asks the questions that keep people up at night. Could reality be a simulation? Can you prove you're not dreaming right now? What does the "red pill" really stand for? You'll move through 14 categories — from Plato's Cave and Descartes' demon to simulation theory, perception hacks, control systems and awakening — across 121 eye-opening questions.
It builds to a final Red Pill / Blue Pill round, where each player chooses their pill and answers a deeper question worth double points. Some questions have a clear answer; some are open dilemmas designed to spark a real argument between the two of you.
If you love thought experiments, philosophy, sci-fi and "whoa" moments, this one's for you.
Features:
- 2-player local pass-and-play in your browser — no download
- 121 questions across 14 categories on reality, mind and meaning
- Real philosophy and science woven through Matrix-style themes
- A dramatic Red Pill / Blue Pill finale worth bonus points
- Hacker terminal aesthetic with falling digital rain
- Free and runs on any modern browser
How to play: enter two names, take turns choosing a category and answering. Score points for correct answers, then face the final pill choice. Most points wins — but the conversations may matter more than the score.
